OUR ROOTS
Born out of our parent company, Stoll Trailers Inc., we've been designing and building specialty trailers that have gained a reputation for strength, durability and innovation.
Mr. Stoll started operations in 1982, located near the historic city of Abbeville, South Carolina. His vision, work-ethic and integrity laid the foundation for a company that is both successful and impactful to our community.
Being in a rural agricultural area, the need for transportation of cattle and farm products was very prevalent. In the coming years, as the housing industry began to blossom and grow in the south, the requests came in for trailers to move building components.
Builders were looking for a trailer that would be easy to maneuver in our mountainous areas and around the lakes. Today, the Stoll Truss Tran trailers are being used across the US and Canada.
Mr. Stoll, or “Billy” as he is locally known is still involved in a small way in the Stoll design and manufacturing, but has passed the torch on to his son, Brad, who now oversees the day to day operations.
